Dr. Walker grew up in Keyes, Oklahoma. He obtained his B.S. degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a D.V.M. degree in 1991. He completed a yearlong equine internship at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. In the fall of 1992, he moved to the Atlanta area and began working in the equine field. Dr. Walker has an ambulatory equine practice, Allatoona Equine, serving the North Atlanta area. HIs specialty in the equine field has been equine reproduction, including embryo transfers and semen cryopreservation. Dr. Walker has two adult children, Andrea and Natalie, along with his lovely granddaughter, Alice. Dr. Walker and his wife, Shannon Sewell, have several four legged children of their own; Jarvis and Riley. His hobbies include golf, beekeeping, and the outdoors.
